Fast 200<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192027067 BCX8\">.<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192027067 BCX8\">000 Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler aus \u00fcber 200 Schulen in Uganda und Pakistan nahmen an der zweiten Runde der TMG-Schulwettbewerbe teil<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192027067 BCX8\">. <\/span><\/span><\/h2><p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW192027067 BCX8\" lang=\"DE-DE\" xml:lang=\"DE-DE\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192027067 BCX8\">Die Schulwettbewerbe haben zum Ziel,<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192027067 BCX8\"> durch einen innovativen und skalierbaren Ansatz <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192027067 BCX8\">spielerisch <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192027067 BCX8\">Verbesserungen bei den sanit\u00e4ren Einrichtungen der Schulen sowie Verhaltens\u00e4nderungen bei den Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fclern anzusto\u00dfen. Die Wettbewerbe tragen auch zur Erreichung der SDGs 6 (Wasser und Sanit\u00e4rversorgung), 3 (Gesundheit), 4 (Bildung) und 5 (Gleichberechtigung der Geschlechter) bei. Die German <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW192027067 BCX8\">Toilet<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SpellingErrorHighlight SCXW192027067 BCX8\">Organi<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SpellingErrorHighlight SCXW192027067 BCX8\">z<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SpellingErrorHighlight SCXW192027067 BCX8\">ation<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192027067 BCX8\"> (GTO) f\u00fchrt die TMG mit Unterst\u00fctzung <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192027067 BCX8\">von<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW192027067 BCX8\">Sanitation<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW192027067 BCX8\">for<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW192027067 BCX8\">Millions<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192027067 BCX8\">durch<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192027067 BCX8\">.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW192027067 BCX8\" data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><div><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Bei den Schulwettbewerben erhalten die teilnehmenden Schulen zun\u00e4chst Leitf\u00e4den in Form eines Inspirationspakets und eines Posters, die es ihnen erm\u00f6glichen, ihre Herausforderungen in der schulischen Sanit\u00e4rversorgung zu analysieren. Au\u00dferdem werden wertvolle Diskussionen angesto\u00dfen. Die Schulen erhalten dadurch ein besseres Verst\u00e4ndnis der Infrastruktur, m\u00f6glichen Verhaltens\u00e4nderungen und der M\u00f6glichkeiten, ihren Status quo zu beeinflussen. Anschlie\u00dfend senden sie ihre Konzepte an die regionale Beh\u00f6rde und werden zur Abschlussveranstaltung des Wettbewerbs eingeladen. Alle Konzepte werden von Schulaufsichtsbeamten bewertet und eine Jury w\u00e4hlt die besten f\u00fcnf als Modellschulen aus.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.31px;\" data-contrast=\"auto\">Das neue Webportal der GTO spielte bei der Durchf\u00fchrung der Wettbewerbe eine wichtige Rolle. Mit Hilfe des Webportals wurden L\u00e4nderseiten gestaltet, die speziell auf die technischen M\u00f6glichkeiten der Regionen in Uganda und Pakistan zugeschnitten waren. Dar\u00fcber hinaus hat die Ma\u00dfnahme den gesamten Prozess digitalisiert, was auch in Zukunft den Kontakt zwischen den beteiligten Akteuren reduzieren und damit das Risiko der Ansteckung mit Krankheiten verringern kann. Die Digitalisierung beg\u00fcnstigte auch die Erweiterung des Wettbewerbs, die ein voller Erfolg war: Die Reichweite stieg im Vergleich zur ersten Runde 2018\/19 um 130.000 Teilnehmer.<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.31px;\" data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Die Wettbewerbe standen unter der Schirmherrschaft von Lokalpolitikern sowie der ehemaligen Parlamentarischen Staatssekret\u00e4rin des BMZ, Dr. Maria Flachsbarth, was die Bekanntheit der Veranstaltung erh\u00f6hte.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Insgesamt gab es sehr positives Feedback aus den Projektl\u00e4ndern. Schon in der ersten Runde von TMG (2018\/19) konnten die Umsetzungspartner <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00fcber <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">einige Erfolge berichten: Zum einen gelang es durch den Wettbewerb, die Schulen daf\u00fcr zu sensibilisieren, gemeinsam Verantwortung neu zu verteilen und gemeinsam an der F\u00f6rderung von Gesundheits- und Hygienepraktiken zu arbeiten. Au\u00dferdem konnten viele Schulen individuelle L\u00f6sungen f\u00fcr die Instandhaltung ihrer sanit\u00e4ren Anlagen entwickeln, die von den Schulen selbst umgesetzt werden k\u00f6nnen. Dazu geh\u00f6ren z.B. die Reparatur von Handwaschanlagen oder die ordnungsgem\u00e4\u00dfe und regelm\u00e4\u00dfige Reinigung der Toiletten zur Verhinderung von Diebst\u00e4hlen.
