En Jordania el acceso a ba\u00f1os p\u00fablicos funcionales y gestionados higi\u00e9nicamente es muy limitado. Sobre todo, personas con discapacidades, personas de la tercera edad, mujeres, ni\u00f1as y ni\u00f1os no cuentan con acceso a un saneamiento adecuado, ya que la infraestructura existente no satisface sus necesidades particulares. El desecho del agua utilizada para el lavado ritual en los lugares sagrados en una fosa s\u00e9ptica o en el sistema de alcantarillado supone un desperdicio del recurso m\u00e1s escaso de Jordania.<\/p>

Sanitation for Millions inici\u00f3 su intervenci\u00f3n en Jordania en 2017 en la ciudad capital Am\u00e1n, as\u00ed como en Irbid y Mafraq, regiones fronterizas con Siria. El programa apunta a la mejora del acceso al saneamiento y a la higiene seguros a trav\u00e9s de estas l\u00edneas de intervenci\u00f3n:<\/p>
